Compostable Bin Liners
BIOMAT®-Shop offers compostable bin liners in different capacities from 10 litres to 240 litres, to match your bin, bio bin or waste bin, because we know that every home is different.
Sacks can be used for all recyclables bins and will keep your bin clean. Because our compostable waste bags are stretchable, they can easily be stretched over the edge of the bin. All bags are certified according to EN 13432.

How are BIOMAT® Bin Liners made?
A special bioplastic based on renewable raw materials such as maize starch is used for the production of our biodegradable bin liners. Furthermore, our bin liners made from renewable raw materials do not leave any microplastic behind.
The production in Germany supports the short distances of our bin liners. In addition, production has been completely CO2-neutral since 2021.
What does "compostable according to EN 13432" mean?
The wide range of BIOMAT® organic waste sacks are biodegradable and compostable according to EN 13432.
The EN 13432 standard guarantees that certified bags degrade without residue in industrial composting plants after approx. 3 to max. 10 weeks, depending on the thickness of the material, and decompose into water, CO2 and biomass.
How are our compostable organic bin liners printed?
Water-based inks are used to print our bags and sacks range. The inks consist of a light formula that is water soluble and odourless. They contain a very low VOC (Volatic Organic Compounds) value. High VOC levels of traditional inks mean that strong smelling fumes are released and are therefore harmful to the environment.
