Are you looking for a practical way to collect food waste in your kitchen? Do you notice condensation building up in your kitchen caddy? Our bioMat® 10L compostable food waste bags made from corn starch are ideal for the hygienic collection of organic waste.

Our 10L compostable food waste bags with handles are a practical alternative to conventional plastic bags. They are made from renewable raw materials and are certified compostable according to EN 13432 and OK compost HOME, as well as holding DINplus certification. The bags decompose in industrial composting facilities in less than 6 weeks and leave no persistent microplastics behind.

The breathable multilayer film allows moisture to evaporate, helping food waste to dry out. This can help reduce mould formation and minimise unpleasant odours. The compostable bin bags are ideal for use with our AirBox® kitchen caddy and make collecting organic waste clean and convenient.

Quality Made in Europe

The plant based raw materials are grown exclusively in Europe and come from non genetically modified plants. The biodegradable food waste bags are manufactured at our own production facility in Germany. There, the bags are carefully produced and tested to ensure high tear resistance and durability.

Tip: Allow hot waste such as food scraps, coffee filters and tea bags to cool before placing them in the compostable bags. Tie the bags securely before disposing of them in the organic waste bin. For additional protection and a cleaner waste bin, we recommend using our bioMat® compostable bin liners.
