Papier Bags & Paper Sacks

The high-quality BIOMAT® paper sacks and paper bags are made of kraft paper, which also gives the paper sacks additional tear and wet strength.

What is kraft paper?

Kraft paper is a type of paper with a very high strength. Kraft paper consists of at least 80% new wood fibres (primary fibres) and a maximum of 20% recycled fibres (secondary fibres).

The primary fibres in kraft paper are particularly long and stable and therefore have a very tear-resistant structure. Recycled paper contains many damaged fibres, which reduces its strength. Kraft paper, on the other hand, is very hard-wearing and tear-resistant.

In addition, our kraft paper sacks are wet-proof and particularly tear-resistant due to their reinforced bottom. This resistance makes BIOMAT® paper sacks ideal for waste collection.

Are the BIOMAT® paper sacks compostable?

BIOMAT® paper refuse sacks 80l-240l are compostable and biodegradable according to EN 13432.

The sprout is the clear identification mark of the paper bags and paper sacks for citizens, municipalities and composters. The typical "Keimling" and the 7P number on our products are the visible representative of this quality standard.

How are the paper sacks made?

Kraft paper is made from renewable raw materials and is recyclable. The entire range of BIOMAT® paper bin liners are manufactured in the EU.
